Terry Giinther
Member-at-Large

Library Manager, City of St. Paul

The kind-hearted work of Listening House brings resources and services into the hands of the needy. It is a place where guests are welcomed and acknowledged; a place where no judgment exists, much like the public library. I have served the public as a librarian in many communities across the Twin Cities, witnessing the many faces of the oppressed and less fortunate. On several occasions, I have encountered individuals arriving in our cities with nothing more than a plastic bag of belongings and their first stop is the public library.

Terry enjoys helping people improve and enhance their lives. His degree in counseling helps him assist individuals with compassion and understanding. He believes in the power of volunteering and offers his time to Great River Greening, Habitat for Humanity and Listening House.
